Database Features Shock Wave DataBase is a collection of numerous shock-wave experimental points. It includes measurements of thermodynamic properties of matter in shock and isentropic release waves. Collected are ca. 15000 points from 300 references for 500 substances as ASCII; 80% of them are presented in this database. The work has been performed under a support of Russian Foundation for Basic Research. So it is for free non-commercial use. The very helpful feature of the database is a possibility to create graphs with experimental points on them via Internet. Also you can perform calculations of thermodynamic properties using Equations of State and compare the results with experimental data in graphical form. The database is based on freeware only: 1. Apache Web Server 2. PHP scripting language 3. PostgreSQL database server
